Hi there, this is to share my new experiment. It cost around only MYR 50.00 while offering something workable like iambic paddle. It was a worth one complete day to spend and get this result.

Of course, it started with some diagram and buy some small parts from local small hardware. Please check the support (wood) that I use. It is a piece of wood from damaged chair. Haha..
The rest of the parts are from local small hardware shop. I think the LED has made this keyer attractive as it will follow the dit and dah.

By the way, now I have two (2) set of keyer. This is one and another one is straight key which I bought from ebay.
Later I show you the photo of her.

I hope the link and video quality is good to watch out there.

PAC-12 Antenna Test

Posted by Isham Issey

Last week, I spent my Sunday with my old friend (PAC-12 Antenna). Actually, I just moved to a new house. The space is so limited unlike my previous house. But, I have to find space for HF to work.
I unpacked my PAC-12 antenna and found it still in very good condition (after 2 years kept in mover box). This is also a refresher to me after so long on 'shutdown mode'.
Once all marking to all band completed. I find new spot to erect this PAC-12 and worked with a few local station. I worked with 9M2IDJ and 9M4CPH with 59 signal during WPX CQ and morning radio test.

This is temporary and I am planning to erect my Fan Dipole which cover 40m and 20m.

Going HF operation

Posted by Isham Issey

Hi there, hello radiooo... In 2012 I have bought my own HF set. It is FT-897D, all band all mode device. First one year, the excitement was not at peak.

Dxing activities were slow and it is only within Asia. The major factor is, I am packed with job related things. In addition, my wire dipole for 40m was not a good built. Upon checking, the feed point found corroded and the solder was so messy. Then, next antenna project came into the picture. It is Shortened 40m Rotary Dipole. I will share later...

End of 2012, the momentum is picking up after I set up and install minimum audio gear to my shack. A combination with new rotary dipole has boosted the momentum to be more active on frequency, especially on local malaysia 40m (7130 KHz).

To be continued...

Hi radios, today is 4th April 2016. I will slowly activate this page and turn around into a good page to everybody out there.
